Large studio apartment in the center of Kemi

This newly renovated 35 m² studio apartment is located in the center of Kemi, in a quiet residential building. The apartment offers modern comfort and style, with a fully updated bathroom and kitchenette. A very cozy and comfortable apartment.
The apartment has two new 90 cm wide beds and a pull-out sofa bed.
The apartment has free Wi-Fi. The dining table is also suitable for working. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, including a microwave, stove, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, and toaster. The view opens to the building’s parking area and the city. The modern bathroom includes a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator. The apartment includes a free parking space with a heating post in the yard of the building.

The surroundings of Kemi and its attractions

Kemi is known for its many wonderful attractions and activities that make a visit unforgettable. From the center of Kemi, you can easily explore local sites such as the Kemi SnowCastle, the inner harbor, and the Bothnian Bay National Park. Additionally, in the Kemi area, you can enjoy beautiful nature and great outdoor opportunities. Popular activities include hiking, cycling, and fishing. If you’re lucky, you can see the stunning Northern Lights from the seashore.

In the winter season, you can book an amazing, unforgettable icebreaker Sampo cruise. Check tickets and reserve your spot here. Sampo’s pickup points are located near the apartment.

The nearest grocery stores are located a few hundred meters away.

Check-in is normally done via self-service. A few days before check-in, we will send instructions.

Check-in is from 16:00 to 23:00 and check-out is by 11:00. If you need an earlier check-in or later check-out, we can arrange it if possible for a fee of 10 euros per hour. Please inquire by email at info@kemiapartments.com.

We have so many guests with allergies that, unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our apartments.
You can see the Northern Lights from the balcony, but you have to be really lucky.

Kemi has several lovely cafes, such as Cafe Hertta at the railway station, the rooftop cafe Sky Hertta at the town hall, and the charming Miorita Cafe at the edge of Täiköntori.

For dining, I definitely recommend Puistopaviljonki / Pizzeria San Milan, which has two kitchens: one for pizza and the other for steaks and other dishes. Reindeer is also on the menu. The restaurant is located on a hill in a lovely old house.

Kemi’s top attraction is the icebreaker Sampo. With Sampo, you can venture onto the icy sea and even float in the freezing water among the ice, but naturally with a warm flotation suit on.

Another important attraction in Kemi is the always open SnowCastle Experience 365. The experience space is open every day, even in summer. It includes an ice bar and a rotating ice sculpture exhibition.

Thirdly, the very charming and beautiful inner harbor area is worth mentioning. Especially in summer, the area is lively and popular. The city of Kemi consists of very old and enchanting buildings, such as the Church.
